What are the toll stations on the Thumanë-Kashar highway?

On the Thumanë-Kashar highway, there are three toll stations:

  • First station Located at the entrance of Mother Teresa Airport.
  • Second station Located at the entrance from Kashar.
  • Third station Located at the exit of Thumana.

WHERE CAN THE TOLL PAYMENT BE MADE?

At the designated toll booths on the highway, based on the location where the passage occurs.

This diversity in payment methods and currencies is designed to meet the needs of highway users, making the payment process easier and faster. All payments are automatically recorded in the electronic system to ensure transparency and accuracy.

WHAT IS A TOLL PAYMENT BOOTH?

Traditional toll booths usually have one or more lanes where payment can be made (either by an operator or using an automated payment machine that accepts cash or cards). Typically, there are also one or more lanes dedicated to drivers with electronic payment devices.

What are the payment methods?

Toll payments at the stop point can be made with cash or card.

What are the vehicle categories?

  • Three-wheeler with engine displacement over 250 cc 
  • Light vehicles
  • Trucks, buses, and other vehicles with fewer than four (4) axles
  • Trucks and other vehicles with four (4) or more axles

Which vehicles are exempt from toll payments?

  • Traffic Police vehicles;
  • Ambulances;
  • Firefighting Force vehicles;
  • Military vehicles, NATO;
  • Persons who have disability status based on Law No. 7889, dated 14.12.1994 'On Disability Status,' as amended, and who use vehicles solely for their personal needs and not for private activities, are fully or partially exempt in accordance with the applicable legislation.
